Organization Setup for Assessments
Overview
Before creating assessments in Preparebuddy.com, you need to set up your organization. This guide covers the essential organization setup needed to start using the assessment features.
Quick Organization Creation
For Individual Teachers/Instructors
- Navigate to Organization Creation
- Login to Preparebuddy.com
- Go to Platform Solutions → Create Organization

Or access via My Workspace → Create Organization

Fill Basic Information
- Organization name (e.g., "Mathematics Department", "English Language Institute")
- Description of your organization
- Organization type (Educational Institution, Corporate Training, etc.)

Contact information

Submit and Get Started
- Click Create Organization
- You automatically become the organization admin
- Start creating assessments immediately
For Institutions with Multiple Departments
- Create Parent Organization
- Follow steps above but select "Parent Organization" type
- This makes you a Super Admin with full control

Can create and manage multiple branches/departments

Add Branches/Departments
- After parent creation, go to Organization Dashboard
- Click Create Branch to add departments
- Each branch can have its own admin and members
- Branches inherit settings from parent (optional)
Assessment-Specific Setup
Required for Assessment Features
Once your organization is created, configure these for assessments:
- Member Management
- Add teachers/instructors who will create assessments
- Add students who will take assessments

Assign appropriate roles (Admin, Examiner, Member)

Assessment Settings
- Configure default assessment templates
- Set organization-wide rubrics
- Enable AI-powered evaluation features

Configure grade/score settings

User Permissions
- Admins: Can create/manage all assessments
- Examiners: Can create assessments and view analytics
- Members: Can take assigned assessments
Quick Start After Organization Setup
For Teachers/Examiners
- Access Assessment Dashboard
- Navigate to Assessment from main menu
- View your assessment dashboard

All organization members appear in student lists

Create Your First Assessment
- Click Create New Assessment
- Choose assessment type (Essay, Research Paper, etc.)
- Assign to organization members
- Publish when ready
For Students/Members
- Access Assigned Assessments
- Login and go to My Workspace
- View Assigned Exams section
- Complete assessments assigned by your organization
