Organization Setup for Assessments

Overview

Before creating assessments in Preparebuddy.com, you need to set up your organization. This guide covers the essential organization setup needed to start using the assessment features.

Quick Organization Creation

For Individual Teachers/Instructors

  1. Navigate to Organization Creation
  2. Login to Preparebuddy.com
  3. Go to Platform SolutionsCreate Organization
  4. Or access via My WorkspaceCreate Organization

  5. Fill Basic Information

  6. Organization name (e.g., "Mathematics Department", "English Language Institute")
  7. Description of your organization
  8. Organization type (Educational Institution, Corporate Training, etc.)
  9. Contact information

  10. Submit and Get Started

  11. Click Create Organization
  12. You automatically become the organization admin
  13. Start creating assessments immediately

For Institutions with Multiple Departments

  1. Create Parent Organization
  2. Follow steps above but select "Parent Organization" type
  3. This makes you a Super Admin with full control
  4. Can create and manage multiple branches/departments

  5. Add Branches/Departments

  6. After parent creation, go to Organization Dashboard
  7. Click Create Branch to add departments
  8. Each branch can have its own admin and members
  9. Branches inherit settings from parent (optional)

Assessment-Specific Setup

Required for Assessment Features

Once your organization is created, configure these for assessments:

  1. Member Management
  2. Add teachers/instructors who will create assessments
  3. Add students who will take assessments
  4. Assign appropriate roles (Admin, Examiner, Member)

  5. Assessment Settings

  6. Configure default assessment templates
  7. Set organization-wide rubrics
  8. Enable AI-powered evaluation features
  9. Configure grade/score settings

  10. User Permissions

  11. Admins: Can create/manage all assessments
  12. Examiners: Can create assessments and view analytics
  13. Members: Can take assigned assessments

Quick Start After Organization Setup

For Teachers/Examiners

  1. Access Assessment Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Assessment from main menu
  3. View your assessment dashboard
  4. All organization members appear in student lists

  5. Create Your First Assessment

  6. Click Create New Assessment
  7. Choose assessment type (Essay, Research Paper, etc.)
  8. Assign to organization members
  9. Publish when ready

For Students/Members

  1. Access Assigned Assessments
  2. Login and go to My Workspace
  3. View Assigned Exams section
  4. Complete assessments assigned by your organization
